Jaanu (2020) is a Telugu romantic drama directed by C. Prem Kumar, starring Sharwanand and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. It is a remake of the Tamil film 96 (2018). The story revolves around Ram (Sharwanand), a travel photographer who reconnects with his high school love, Jaanu (Samantha), at a school reunion after 15 years.
Ram and Jaanu shared a deep love during their school days, but circumstances separated them. While Ram never moved on from his feelings, Jaanu was forced to accept a different life. As they spend a night reminiscing about their past, emotions resurface, and they confront the pain of their unfinished love story.
